yes. But I thought it would always be connected to the phrase.....happy ever after. That is the catch.....that pure mind boggling love rarely lasts as long as we want. But, I am glad that I had those moments in time.

Yes I have. Since it was not returned I wish to god that I could get over it.
To Miguel--perhaps I should have used the word "acknowledged" instead of returned. One sided love can still be true and overwhelming. Unfortunately, it is painful to the extreme. Been this way for 5 years now with no relief. My love was/is real.

Yes, when I first met my husband; he offered me more love than I'd ever experienced in my lifetime. He keeps things fresh in our relationship and keeps us moving forward. He's a serious and strong romantic man who is the ultimate expression of love.

True love doesn't need to be returned. If you require someone to love you in order for you to love that someone you love not. Love is selfless.
I have experienced it.

my first love...yes and I was 17, then we had to move and eventually 150 miles was too far to carry on. it has affected me for 31 years. I still think of the first time I held her hand, our first kiss. life goes on somehow.
