By now the whole world knows that the US Military is useless.
Iran, North Korea knows very well that we cannot even control
a bunch of illiterate tribes in Iraq. even our past with Korea in the 50's, Vietnam.where we got our *** kicked. Korea, Iran, Syria, China. knows very well they can do what they like , because we are not capable of doing anything about it. our only solution is to apologize to the world for our bad behavor. We need a leader who will unite us with the world, but big business will not allow it. We need to redirect our focus. Sadly we are headed towards the fall of America. I am a absolute proud American. but we are very wrong what we are doing. what do you think?

First, Calm Down
China is polluting it's air and water to sell low priced goods to the USA, Iran's oil revenues could end by 2015. USA has a military base in South Korea, and Japan. North Korea got their leaders favorite US imports cut off after his little fireworks display.
You don't agree with US presence in Iraq, guess what? America is not an isolationist country, if we were, who would the world have to blame for their troubles?
What do you mean Big business will not allow the US to unite with the world??? I think it was big business that went into countries to build oil refineries, and created the oil industry. I would like to see US dollars spent on creating the industry of alternative fuels. I would also like to know that the worlds men, women, and children have a to place to live and be individuals, as well as community members.

What we have here is a failure to educate. Korea, excuse me we kicked the north koreans into Red China. And if Truman hadn't stopped him McArther was about to kick the Red Chinese into the Ocean. The north Vietnamese were ready to surrender until they saw the antiwar protesters and just hoped they could survive until the anti-war people defeated us. The Tet offensive was a military disaster for the Viet Cong who were virtually wiped out. Iran and Syria as well as Red China know more about our military capability than you apparently do. The fact that Tiawan hasn't been invaded is clear enough evidence of that.

They all including the terrorist in Iraq know they don't have a snowballs chance in hell of defeating our military. Their only hope is to defeat our will to fight. People who are willing to give up and surrender to our enemies without a fight are their only hope. Thanks a lot.

Hmmm.

First I would have to say that I think you're wrong on the explanations of Korea and Vietnam as examples of our military's abilities. Those were not "soldier's wars", they were "seantor's wars". Those idiotic "rules of engagement" put such a stifling stranglehold on the soldiers that it was virtually impossible to win either war.

War is war. If you're going to fight one, you need to fight it with the absolute goal of winning it, and I think that if any nation threatened the continental US, that's exactly what they'd get.

I don't agree that we need to "unite with the rest of the world", because there is no "ideal international community" that would ever appease the entire world. We are just entirely too different in beliefs, cultures, and customs. If anything, I think the US needs to back out of the "international community" some and start fixing it's own ills, and let other countries start fixing their own ills as well.

Your statements are flawed. We've never had our *** kicked. The media and dems pulled us out of Vietnam when we were on the brink of winning. Then millions were slaughtered. We are forced to fight politically correct wars because of our liberal press. If we could fight today the way we were allowed to win in WWII we'd have finished off all this terrorist crap in Iraq and Iran.

btw, it's impossible for us to unite with the world when most of them want us dead. We can change leaders all day long and that won't change the fact that they want us dead. And we aren't the ones who should apologize. It's that kind of thinking that makes it almost impossible to fight our enemies.

And by saying disrespectful things about our military personnel, it shows us all who's side you're on, so don't say you're a "proud American" when we know you hate this country and the freedom it stands for.

It's not our military that is the problem. It's the fact that since Vietnam and Korea wars have become politicised. If politicians would stay out of it and let the soldiers do what needed to be done our armed forces would be the elite differance makers they are trained to be. Unfortunately everything our military does is up for public review and that's a very very bad thing.

I couldn't agree more,America is on a slippery slope right now, but think of it this way, it's the US citizens' faults. They are the ones that a put a monkey that doesn't know how to do the job back in office for another four years

I think it was Einstein who said that if someone repeats the same thing over and over again that usually ends with same results, they're insane.
(ie Bush)

I agree, but for different reasons. Many people don't know that we have millions-billions of dollars in loans from foreign nations (ex China, Russia). If they asked for their payment, we would be screwed. Our economy would plummet and the value of the dollar would go to as low as the peso. As for all the small nations, they basically hate us. Everyone thinks we are trying to be the world police. I predict that more people will continue to hate us and will try to team up and get nukes and try to kill us. We will probably in that situation end up nuking the small nations, so then all the nations that signed the non-proliferation act will probably declare war on us. England will probably get sucked under with us too. I know it seems negative, but that's my prediction

I think that the sooner we stop trying to police the world and impose our lifestyle (religion and politics) on other countries the safer we will be. But that is just my opinion and I know I could be completely wrong with this approach. We live in very volatile times and we could be thrown back into the stone-age, Twilight Zone style, at any time. We are at odds with mankind's worst invention, not nuclear power, but religion. Mankind has created more bloodshed and hatred in the name of religion than with any other weapon and ironically it is likely to initiate the demise of all that we know.

You were doing so well too as a member of the British Empire, even your taxes were lower and tea has always been cheaper and better than coffee. If you ask nicely now we might take you back as long as you do as Canada tells you from now on (we're putting them in charge).
