Mine is constantly joking all the time. I swear most of the time I can't have a serious conversation w/him (u know.....being REAL) he;'s sweet and all but for yrs. just jokes and when I tell him things over half the time doesn't give me a serious expression and makes a stupid funny face.
And he talks "baby talk" to the cat often, which more and more find myself not being able to stand. once in awhile would be fine......do any of ur husbands act like this? or what things does ur husband do or not do that increasingly grates on ur nerves?
BTW, in most other area's in our relationship he's very mature and responsible.
(i know it's better to have a character like this than be around someone miserable constantly or mean, but it still gets on my nerves, after all it's been like this day in and day out for yrs. yeah, i know i am not perfect coz on one is.)

My best friend's husband is like that and it annoys me and I'm not even married to him. He's constantly making talking in an Elmo voice or using quotes from movies. He always laughs and makes jokes when you are trying to talk to him. My friend has been trying to get him to stop doing this over the years and it really hasn't worked, so unfortunately she jus had to learn to ignore him. Her and I always roll our eyes at eachother when he does it. My husband has ADHD and just plain spaz's out about everything all the time and jumps around all hyper most of the time, and it annoys me and everyone else to death. The way I see it, I either have to learn how to deal with it or get a new man.
You should be able to tell him that it really annoys you, and ask him to stop. Maybe make a compromise w/ him, that you'll stop doing one thing that really annoys him, if he'll try to stop doing the one thing that really annoys you. Maybe ask him why he feels the need to do this.

Hehe. My husband baby-talks to the cat too, but I just find it hilarious.
One thing that bothers me, is this certain voice he'll use, and he knows it bothers me, but he'll do it sometimes. Last time he did it, I told him "Seriously, that creeps me out, please stop." He hasn't done it since.
What else...he used to zone into his video games & television shows, to the point that I could ask him something, and he wouldn't hear me. But he's gotten better with that, as well.
Basically, my husband's pretty good at compromising, when it comes to things I tell him that bother me.
Oh, like the person above me mentioned, my husband also puts his dirty clothes on the floor instead of in the laundry basket that's a foot away. Haha.

The number one thing has to be his snoring.
Anytime he falls asleep before me, which luckily is rather rare, I can just prepare on not sleeping for hours.
Like right now for example. It's four in the morning and I'm on yahoo answers cause the man snores enough to wake a dead person.

my hubby is constantly losing his keys. i dont mean now and then. i dont mean once in a while. i mean ALL THE TIME! and then we find them in the most ridiculous places. like the fridge, in the kids room, under the couch, behind furniture. makes me insane. we have hooks to hang his keys on. we have gotten those keychains you whistle for(which he lost). we have tried everything. he is late for work cause of this. he is late to appts. we have had to make multiple copies of all our keys so he can go anywhere. one time he lost a set of keys and they were gone for a year and he walked out into the yard and they were just lying there on the ground! he swears theres a little troll that follows him around and hides his keys. i tell him he is the troll.

My b/f(not husband) will ask me a question and then when I am telling him the answer to his question he will cut me off completely (because he is playing his video game or computer game)...and then a minute later look at me and say "yeah..go on". He gets upset when i look at him and say "forget it" and walk away.

The biggest pet peeve of mine when it comes to my husband would have to be how when he uses the bathroom and tinkles a bit on the rim and doesn't clean up his mess. DISGUSTING!
I tell him, start sitting down to pee, that way it doesn't happen. Geesh!
