I have been at my high school for two years. I didnt know anyone when i went there. I dont have that many friends, and the school is very diverse. It is very easy for me to get girls as friends but i dont have any male friends. AT lunch i sometimes have to sit by myself and on the other day of lunch i see lots of my female friends but i dont want to be with a group of girls. So how do i get more male friends.

It's all about having the same interests and actually talking about them. Most guys I know like video games, sports, and girls. Just mention something in passing, like "Hey, have you heard that new song by ___? It rocks!" If that doesn't work and the guy looks at you funny, try someone else! Talk about food, or anything really. If you're not interested in those things, you can still find a guy friend who is. Don't try too hard, relax, and be yourself. My point is, you have to make an effort with anything you want to do. Oh, and ask someone if you can sit with them at lunch--doesn't matter who. If you're alone all of the time, people tend to think you want to be left alone, and that's clearly not what you want. Always remember to be confident in yourself.

Try sitting with the males. If you hang around them instead of the girls, they will start to like you more. Try sitting with some guys at lunch and talking to them, most of the time someone will respond and become your friend. They may be jealous of you too because you are keeping all the girls company instead of themTry getting into male orienated sports like football and wrestling or a boy's basketball team.

I think that's the million dollar question for high school students.

Me, I am gay so had tons of girl friends, the guys hated me. I was also smart, studious, neat and hated sports. *rolls eyes here at the stereotype*

Only thing I can say that might sorta help....high school eventually ends...YES THE NIGHTMARE ENDS. I made more friends in university than in high school. None of my high school friends are still friends now but several of my university friends are still close friends.

Just do your best, make yourself happy and hopefully like-minded people will be drawn to you.

maybe you should join the basket ball team or even the badminton team and if they have already had that sport try out for out side of school activities like karate or foot ball that way you will meet new girls and you will meet new guys too.
so just take that advice and you will be on your way with life.

You could start smoking! Then you look cool to all the other smokers and will be 'in' with them.

Keep in mind though that smoking causes lung cancer so i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS OPTION (unless you wanna be super cool and have tones of friends and be invited to lots of parties).
