Yes. Why not? There are no reasons I can think of why someone from Hawaii wouldn't have as much chance as a resident of any other state.

Never happen. Hawaii doesn't have enough electoral votes and is thus, relatively unimportant. As long as we continue using the antiquated electoral college system of electing a president, the candidates will only come from states with a large number of votes, or states which have been solidly Republican or Democrat in the past and can be counted upon to deliver again and again for that party. If we were to ever go to direct election, there's no reason why someone from Hawaii couldn't be elected.

Of course I could. Hawaiians got the Aloha spirit and are mad cool. Barack Obama is from Hawaii, he went to Punahou which is an exclusive school in Honolulu. He only lived in Indonesia for 4 years as a kid.

it depends, hawaii only got 2 electoral votes so it will depend on what the rest of the country thinks. i would like to see a president from hawai'i, but its gonna be alot harder for him to win, unlike bush who can win just cause he got texas in his pocket.
