I do not wear glasses, but I want to wear colored contacts. I tried tearfully for almost an hour and could not get them in. I have squinty eyes and even when I hold the eyelids open they close when I touch my eyeball.

I first make sure they are not dirty because even the tiniest speck of somehting could feel like its stabbing your eye. Anyways wash the contact off with solution. Then make sure that the contact is right side up, so it looks like a bowl. Then till the solution bottle to make one drop go into your contact. Stare at the mirror in front of you and put you finger right on your pupil. If you look up the sides of the contact will burn the white part of your eye, thats why they are meant to be on the colored part of your eye, anyways, after the contact is in your eye dont suddenly blink or it might have a chance to fall out if your eyes are watery, then roll your eyes around so your contact could attatch itself to your eye then slowly close your eye. It helps me when i rub my eyelid around. And thats it!!! Do the same with the other eye!!!

you just probably need to practice, just relax , prepare the contact holding it opened up on the tip of your index finger and it needs to be on the right side, put some drops of eye drops for contacts on it and and try to place it right on your eye ball then when you make contact, then you need to look down in order for it to be placed correctly. hope this helps.

Dont look up(a lot of people do) try to look directly into the mirror and just put them in really quick. I found this to be the easiest way.

When you put your contacts in, look in another direction. It has taken me years to perfect a concept that works for me, but when I put in my left contact I look right, and when i put in my right contact i look up and towards the right.

1) make sure its not inside out
2) drench them with saline solution
3) relax your eyes
4) hold bottom lid down as far as it can go [reasonably, not hurting of course]
5) put the ocntact in

good luck! =]

Look straight, and make yr eyes as big as possible.
This way you don't create more wrinkles on yr face.
