I actually had many problems on myspace. I met this guy online. He sent me a message and I responded politely back. We kept talking, keeping it at a friend basis. Bad idea, the guy harassed me to the point I was scared for my life. I had to delete the entire thing and I ended up buying mase to carry with me if I was alone. So, if you plan on getting a myspace, BE SMART. Only talk to your friends, no one else. Keep your profile private. Keep all of your personal info private. I mean, it's common sense but sometimes we just forget the obvious. Be careful. But, before this whole harassment thing, I thought it was a waste of time. It's faster using the telephone. :) Good Luck.

myspace is safe, but how you or others decide to use it may not be.
personally I think that designed a personal web page, etc. on a web server is more constructive.
as long as you don't go chatting with anyone and everyone and go to meet strange people in strange places it's perfectly safe.

Go for it!
Myspace has a great feature where no one can view your page unless they know you, so only your family and friends can see the content/photos on your page.
It is also a great place to learn some basic web design and html coding!

yes you should get one
just dont give out your personal information like your age, location, sex, ect. Most of my friends fake everything and all you need is a picture to say its you. In my opinion, it is safe, its just how use it that can lead into trouble.

It depends on how you use myspace. if you put personal info on your profile, you will indanger your self. if you don't put as much info or even use a fake id you will be safer.

Basically no, my space has become a hunting ground for perverts and bullies who are to afraid to meet you face to face, there are safer alternatives out there, look them up!

From a mother's perspective, NO! It's been nothing but trouble for one of my daughters, even if it is set on privacy.
