I was getting sick for about 7 months. I hated being pregnant because of it. You should feel your baby moving around this time, at first it feels like a fluttery feeling in your tummy.Easily mistaken for gas. As you get farther along you will not be able to miss your baby moving, you will even be able to see your baby move through your tummy. Kinda freaked me out at first. It reminded me of an alien movie. LOL
Congratulations.

Hey, well I feel for you really.. I had ALL DAY sickness the whole 9 months I was pregnant although I found that if you try pepermint candies or anything pepermint it might work. It didn't stop me from getting sick but it helped a lot with the uneasy feeling that you get...So don't be worried that you are still getting sick everyone is different and there is no specific time frame for that nasty morning sickness its all worth it in the long run though =) and as far as feeling movement for the most part anywhere from 20 weeks up depending on how big or small the baby is.. Hope I was able to help and hang in there...

There is a condition in which pregnant women are sick the entire pregnancy; they sometimes have to be put in the hospital due to dehydration. Be very careful with what you are eating; make sure you are avoiding too much sugar, caffeine and fatty foods. Try eating crackers and sipping on some juice even before you get up in the morning to stabilize your blood sugar, then eat lots of protein during the day. Have you tried sea bands? They go on pressure points on your wrists; they work for some people. As for feeling movement, this seems to occur at different times for people. I think that the smaller you are (and if it is not your first pregnancy), you will feel movement earlier.

I had morning sickness all day every day, for nine months. I had to go on a pill called zofran, because the normal pill they give you (reglan) did not a gosh darn thing. But the zofran is expensive, $30-40 for one pill. And at the end I was on 3 pills a day.
Baby movement will start out as butterfly fluttering feelings. And they will become more pronounced as time goes by. Also, for the morning sickness, try switching to a different prenatal vitamin, there is one that works better, and also take an additional vitamin b12 every day. Good luck.

Oh, those wonderful hormones... Had all day sickness as well as well! And then, ofcourse, there are those lucky ones who don't experience morning sickness at all... I had all day sickness, up until about 34weeks into my pregnancy. I could suggest that you consume anything with ginger in. Well, that's what the clever people suggested to me. I used to munch on salt and vinegar chips and milk. Only 2 things that made me feel better for about 2 hours. Best thing is to avoid getting hungry, as that worsens the nausea. Good luck with that - you've got my sympathy! As to what you should 'feel': I only felt my baby from week 24, and, once you are certain that you're feeling your baby, you'll realize that you've actually felt it beforehand. You know that funny feeling when a muscle twitches? It's exactly the same.

Every pregnancy is different even from one of your to another. I was in the same situation the first 7 months of my pregnancy and lost 20 pounds. I would get sick just looking at food commercials. The doctor told me to eat 6 small meals every day instead of the normal 3 and it stopped.
My daughter on the other hand is 4 months along right now and still sick. She started taking her prenatal vitamins at night instead of the morning, and she doesn't get sick as often.
The best thing to do is talk to your OB about it. They now have medications that will help with that.
Hope you feel better soon.

I was sick every day of my 1st pregnancy. It stopped the day after I delivered. I was sick my second pregnancy but not as bad. I was always told by my doctors that it was a sign of a very healthy strong pregnancy! I was to the point though that I could not even keep water down, then I had to go on meds to stop me from vomiting. I know its awful to feel sick all the time but in the end it is worth it! Good Luck!

Morning sickness is different for every woman and every pregnancy. I didn't have it at all with my first, and have it pretty bad with #2. I have heard an old-wives tale that Testosterone causes morning sickness, so if it's really bad - it's probably a boy.
(again, an old-wives tale - not sure if it's gospel truth)
As for fetal movement...this is going to sound weird, but it's as close as I can get to explaining it...
Put the palm of your hand against your cheek, now move your tongue around - "bumping" it to the inside of your cheek.
Close your eyes and try to focus just on your hand and the bumps to the palm is exactly what a baby moving around inside feels like.
Congratulations!!

I am sorry to hear your still sick! One of the worse feelings in the world to be sick every day. "YUCK" Talk to your dr about phernagan - not sure of the spelling but it helped me surrvive through my pregnancy - start off with the lowest dose possible cause it does make you drowsy unless you don't mind getting the extra week.... I worked througout my pregnancy so I couldn't afford to be super drowsy...... however, some days I just couldn't help it!!
Also I found that drinking propel water really helped me keep my mouth wet......and helped keep the saliva going down... I had a lot of extra saliva that kept making me sick too!!
Not too much longer for you even though it seems forever.... Soon you wont even remember when your beautiful baby arrives!!
Good Luck!!
