Relax!!!!! You'll worry yourself sick if you continue to stress that fact. Your baby will be just fine as it was a mere speck when you drank. This is going to make me sound bad, but I had 2 drinking binges then found out about 6 weeks later that I was 6 weeks pregnant & I have 2 very healthy, rowdy babies now!!!! Your doctor will reassure you of the same thing. Sit back, relax, & enjoy the wonders of pregnancy!!!!

I Really Don't Think So - I Don't Think It Can Harm Your Baby If You Are This Early In Your Pregnancy...
You Should Maybe Talk To Your Doctor...
But, I'm Sure That Many People Have Gone To Parties & Drank & Stufff, And Just Realized That They Are Pregnant... I'm Sure It's Nothing To Worry About - But Please Go Check With Your Doctor To Make Sure Everything Is Okay!!
And, Good Luck!! =D

Don't worry about it.
It's best never to drink because we don't know how much it takes to do harm and better safe than sorry. But in reality, a few drinks every now and then generally don't seem to hurt. In many places, it is common an acceptable to drink moderately through pregnancy.
So don't drink at all now that you know. But don't beat yourself up for what you did before you knew because it is extremely unlikley that it did any harm.
I did the same thing when I got pregnant just before the holidays four years ago and didn't find out until mid-January. My daughter is absolutely perfect.

I did the same thing then found out I was pregnant!! I went to 2 parties and rarely drink darn Mojitos. Tanning, LOVE Red Bull, and had lazer surgery because I stepped on a piece of glass!I was a neurotic mess!! The Doctor said not to worry as long as you don't drink every day it wont harm the baby. I stopped tanning and red bull for the caffeine. lol I have a healthy 3 week old!!! Congrats

I got pregnant in August, and didn't find out until October. My birthday was Sept. 2, and it was my 21st. I had a couple of drinks.
Found out I was pregnant, and completely spazzed. But the Dr. said that it probably won't cause any problems with the baby, as long as I ddn't do it again. And as long as you didn't drink to the point of alcohol poisoning or close to that, it'll probably be OK.
Just be careful with what you do from here on out, since this is when the baby really starts to develop. And make sure you mention any such concerns to your doctor.
Good luck.

Make sure you tell your doctor just so he is aware, he can also let you know the exact risks to the baby. However it was only twice, before you knew, etc. Fetal alcohol syndrome is usally attributed to more drinking than this. I would rest assured that as long as you don't drink in the future all should be alright. The very fact that your concerned about it shows that this isn't going to be a problem during your pregancy.
Congratulations! Here's a link and exert from a article from CNN on this issue.

before I found out that I was pregnant with my first child I had drank at least 8 wine coolers. My baby is healthy and 12 years old. when I spoke with my doctor about this he informed me not to worry about the things I had done but to take precautions of what I will and will not do from that point on.
I am sure your baby is fine. Just don't drink anymore! Speak with your doctor.

You should be okay as long as you stop drinking now that you found out. What's important is that you begin taking care of yourself and the baby from now on. No liquor for the next 6 months or longer if you are breastfeeding.

No, your baby won't be affected by your holiday drinking at all. How do I know? Well, 4 years ago I also got pregnant in the beginning of December and went to Christmas and New Years parties. I freaked out but my OB told me not to worry and that early on, if the fetus was harmed it would have spontanteously aborted on its own.
So relax and have fun preparing for your new little one! And Congrats!

I think you have to drink alot and often for it to affect baby. The day before I found out I was pregnant, I had 3 drinks. I nearly croaked!! But I'm 22 weeks now and all looks great! Just take care of yourself from now on and I'm sure everything will be fine.
