Now be honest! When you picture a girl that likes gaming, sci fi, the midievil festival and wood elves what do you immediately think she looks like? It seems as though there's this generalization about female gamers. I like all those things and I'm hot. When I tell people I'm into that stuff they're surpised. Why is that??!! Us hot female gamers are underappreciated!

Yes, not all girls who love gaming and sci fi are ugly and fat. I also love gaming and sci fi, but I'm not fat. There's so many wrong perception about us girl gamers...

Edit: Sorry dear...to answer your question, I would have to say that the girls that RPG are intelligent and don't hang out with the people that are shallow with lower IQ's. People on the outside don't want to get to know gamers "on the inside" because they're afraid they'll get labeled and their other shallow friends won't have anything to do with them....
It's not that these people really think RPG gals are fat and ugly, it's that they're afraid to ADMIT it.

i can relate to u ! im not a gamer, but im into scifi and medieval stuff and lord of the rings and ppl are surprised because they expect me to be some girly-girl who watches BET all day and shop till i drop and the like. Society is just overcrowded with stereotypical girly-girls, so thats what they expect from other girls that look good lol.

I guess cause most people find it hard to beleave that anyone else who is not fat and ugly would be into gaming.Not saying that some are like that.

I just got my wife to start learning to play pc games. I'm digging it. Gaming & SCiFi can always use more chicks, no matter what your looks.
