I just rented "Road to Guantanamo", and the lady at blockbuster looked at the cover and said "hmmm, road to guantanamano..."; obviously she never heard of the film, much less the place, much less what goes on there. Is this America in a nutshell, and is this why Bush and co. have not been removed?

I just saw the movie last night. I also went and read some other posts about it here and I can't believe what I'm reading on most of them. Some people are trying to make it look like the Americans didn't torture anyone over there and it's all a lie and crap. Man, I just want to smack some people for thinking that. The pictures in the news don't lie and the movie looked much like the pictures. Infact, I liked the movie and there are lots more out there that you should watch. If you want, I have my own personal website with lots of good information on it. Just email me and ask.

i think your correct. We happen to living in a society of increased ignorance, yes it worries me and I wonder sometimes, what can I do if anything. Its sad to say but this will continue until America wakes up what it takes to do that I dont know, maybe a depression or the deployment of this lady at blockbusters son to Iraq or mor of our personal freedoms need to be taken away mayb then society will go hmmm...whats going on here

Unfortunately so. Next time rent Animal Farm and compare it to America. It's exactly as you very well said. Individuals enclosed in their own little nutshell. Who cares what happens beyond. Beware!!! In time the nut spoils.

You've got it! I like to call it the spreading of the DMV mentality. Stupid has become a pandemic.
