How LOW does a woman have to be to use a child as a pawn in an attempt to anger her daughter in law?? There are plenty more ways the slag could have done it without hurting a baby's feelings..

GRRRRRRRRRRR

You're right. I am bitter. When somebody is willing to make a 3 year old upset to the point that she'll sit in your lap and cry for over an hour just so they can twist the knife in YOU- it's worthy of being a bit bitter.

HEY - I CAN IDENTIFY WITH THAT....

I have an overbearing, overweight, overeffacing, two-timing, backstabbing, and thoroughly brutal beeyatch of a mother in law. She's tried to do everything she can to tear my wife and I apart, including accusing me of making threatening phone calls and harassing her, when at the time I was IN THE HOSPITAL. My wife was so ticked off that she had a huge fight with her mother, much to my satisfaction.

My best advice to you - NOD, SMILE, AND WAIT - she will eventually get hers in the end, and it will taste so SWEET...especially since you didn't have to do a thing...

You know what, Jennifer, I probably will be a mother in-law one day, but I swear right here and right now, I will NEVER, EVER be like my mother in law.

Do you know what that woman had the nerve to say??? She said "He (her son), will never be your man totally. He is MY MAN and all I have to do is say drop her and you will be gone." 10 years later, I'm still here.

And she tries so hard to turn our 8-year old against me, but he is having none of it. He is old enough not to want to be around her when she is bad mouthing me.

I guess the cycle never changes, but it stops here once and for all!!

Those type of people could care less about any ones feelings, but their own. Their main adjective is to hurt, it never matters who it is....
