I'm looking for the right ones the first time for a workstation/ server dual socket 940 SLI, 16 GB max. Any help would be... helpful.

www.newegg.com

Ive found that that site has the best selection/prices. It also has good filter systems to trim down the results to what you specifically want.

Hope that helps.

Newegg.com is ok to buy stuff. But pcworld.com is better. There you can find the answer you are looking for and then some you thought not to ask. They cover motherboards and tell you what may go good with them. They can give you their opinions on benchtesting of certain items, as it seems you plan to build a server or fix one. They even have a section on how to build your own desktop, should you endeavor to do so.
