is done loading to go to the next screen it starts skipping is it my console. cause i have the old ps2 and then sometimes it just wont load ive cleaned the disc my system whats next.

what is the mean of skipping? do u get the next screen and the program act from its self? or u dont get anything after loading?
if the program act from its self so may be ur joystick has a jammed button or is making some thing wrong.if u didnt get anything after loading so it is ur system.
u cleaned it up,now leave it until it cools down if u tried many times.leave it for an hour or two then try again.my old fat ps2 was like yours and once heated up during a game play i cant play any other game while it is hot i had to leave it for an hour or two to change the cd and after that it becames almost dead so i bought a new slim one and sold my old ps2.
