definite i will assert i might with out question . i'm not got here upon of my lifestyles besides so risking loss of life to save somebody else is nice with me. i individually might like it if i could have the capacity to die in that way save the different guy or woman then drop ineffective. that could look the only way my lifestyles could be of a few use.

I might...... If there is a possibility that we both can live, and just between me trying to save him or not stands the risk, I would take the risk and try to do my best to keep both of us alive...
WHY? because I would like the same done for me if I am in need... Do for others what you would like them to do for you... Treat other like you would like them to treat you... If everyone in our society would think this way, there wouldn't be any wars....
The heroes of humanity risk their life every day to save the life of many strangers... firemen, policemen, etc.

I'd have to say yes, even though the circumstances under which you would be saving someone's life would most likely NOT afford you a lot of time to think about it. In other words, it's more of a natural reflex for most human beings, I think (I hope!).

It depends on my mood at the time but if it's Monday morning I would probably save the stranger but if it's Friday evening then I will take the rain check.

Yes. And I have while living in Mexico. Sometimes something comes up and there is not even time to think. You just DO IT. Later you wonder to yourself why? I could have been killed. But at the moment nothing enters your head. There isn't time to really think. You have to act quickly and almost instinctively. But I tell you when I knew I was this way, I felt happy about what kind of person I am.

Yes , I did when deployed to Somalia 92-93 with the Canadian Airborne Regiment. There were firefights where people were killed in order to maintain security. You are at risk everyday and don`t know who could get it next.

Hell no!!!
If I die, I'm not going to get anything in return by saving a random stranger who would probably not have saved MY life if the tables were turned.

i really dont know. nobody does until they are in that situation.
but one thing is for sure: wed all prefer to believe that we would....that wed do the noble and righteous thing. but i think that when the time comes, most people would save themselves before a stranger...and sometimes even before someone they know. wed all like to believe we are like the heroes we see in the movies....but many of us are not and never will be

It depends on which stranger it is. Some strangers are worth more than I am. Some are worth less. And, well, I'm ME. There are LOTS of you OTHER people, but only ONE of ME. There'd have to be enough extra merit in the stranger, above that which I myself have, to motivate me to sacrifice myself for him.
