i have mp3 files on my comp but they lack the punch of bass is there a free software program i can use to add the bass or effects of the nature to the song? i don't want to use my windows media player to add bass i want to have bass on the song. help?

Audacity has a bass boost effect you can apply to an MP3

U cant, the only way to add more bass, or the volume of it is through the Equalizer, (ie Rock, Jazz...)

Umm, I think there is a free version of acid you can download.
