headers =misery... why butcher up 500-700 dollars worth of good exhaust to buy trouble... they leak, don't fit right(don't beleive the sellers as to how easy they are to install & live with). you have to modify(butcher) the rest of the system to get them to fit... they burn up plug wires, make the starter hard to get off etc.... you get the picture..look at a graph of power/torque increases if you have to rev up 5000 rpm to get 12 hp or so,,, what happens at 2200 rpm cruising speed? how much power does it take to go 75 mph 45 hp? probably...not trying to rain on your parade, but it is something you need to hear. If you do get the headers, how about a report... good or bad!

If you are looking for torque get headers with long collectors. Long collectors are more important than long primaries. But the primaries should flow well. The better headers for torque usually have short, large diameter primaries and long collectors.

I wouldn't mess with headers unless i did some engine work. the exhaust on those pickups only have like 1psi of restriction. At least when they are new.....throw even a slight cam in it and i could see a reason. Of course if you have money headers look and make the truck sound alil "cooler"

go with the noted name, borla, as long as you have deep pockets.
