I adore Barbara Boxer for having the guts to ask Rice the hard questions. Boxer is a liberal heroine to emulate. Is it just me or is this the Year of the Liberal Woman? I think it's just wonderful.

it isn't about Condi's race, so those of you trying to bring racism into it are trolls.

Boxer was making a point about how the families of the dead American soldiers are the ones that are suffering. The soldiers can't suffer anymore. They died in Bush's silly farcical war. Condi doesn't care about those soldiers or their families and Boxer was making that point. What's racist about that? Boxer said she wasn't doing the true suffering from this war either. I don't get you cons at all.

Let me get this straight - you think it's ADMIRABLE for Barbara to insult a woman for making the CHOICE not to marry or have kids? I thought feminism was supposed to be all about giving women CHOICES. Or does choice only apply to abortion?

Barbara Boxer would be howling with outrage had a Republican said something like that to a Democrat.

Typical liberal hypocrisy.

Oh, and by the way - this "racist, sexist" President appointed a black woman to the highest position a black woman has ever held in this country - and all the left does is bash her. How can you explain that?

Senator Boxer can only dream of being half as intelligent as Ms Rice. As far as I'm concerned the low life politician from California made a fool of herself the way she ranted and kept interupting Ms Rice. These liberals who want to make the deplorable senator out as someone fighting the good fight are just bouncing on the strings of liberal puppet masters. The type of people who follow individuals like Boxer think purely with emotion and have a very limited rational understanding of the world.

Barbara Boxer didn't stand up to Rice. She insulted Rice. Barbara Boxer's children aren't at risk for service in Iraq, so the fact that she's a mother and Rice isn't makes no difference in their ability to make wartime decisions. This incident just proved that Rice is a true professional and Boxer is a rookie stateswoman.

If Condi were a real human being with real emotions she would have given an empathatic, rather than an attack answer. She would have said that even though she has no children, she has strong bonds to nieces, nephews, the children of coworkers, etc. who are in the military. She would have said that she thinks of them every day, that she calls or emails soldiers in Iraq, that her decisions regarding Iraq are always tinged with sadness and concern for military families and the soldiers themselves. But, I've concluded that though she may be intelligent, Condi is very lacking in emotion or concern for others.

This has not something to do with liberalism and each and each aspect to do with the reality that perky Katie Couric is not any journalist and has no organisation organisation anchoring the coaching, truly for the community that gave us Edward R. Murrow and Walter Cronkite. Did she truly say that? regardless of if she did, she does not write her own reproduction. there grew to develop right into a plagiarism scandal some "Katie Couric's Diary" piece that grew to develop into stolen from another position. She escaped that because of the actual reality she hadn't written it--infrequently something to be extremely joyful with, that she did not write her own "diary" get proper of entry to. Edit: there's a aspect to be made the following: had Gore received the Presidential election in 2000, per danger this breakup does not have were given the following about--yet that is not extremely the similar as blaming Bush for it. Please end with the "libs hate united statesa." crap. the rationalization you've the proper proper to run your hateful mouths like that is by technique of utilising the actual reality liberals are the in effortless words ones protecting your ideal to free speech. hello, i do compared to Katie Couric, as i have were given made clean. Are the Katie fanatics those giving me thumbs down?

Rice appeared before the Senate in defense of President Bush's tactical change in Iraq, and quickly encountered Boxer.

"Who pays the price? I'm not going to pay a personal price," Boxer said. "My kids are too old, and my grandchild is too young."

Then, to Rice: "You're not going to pay a particular price, as I understand it, with an immediate family."

If that's insulting to Rice, she shouldn't be in politics

Well you are entitled to your opinion. I thought it was a low blow and she should apologize. It's just typical liberal defense if you don't have a plan when asked you go for the juggler and attack. the libs in the democratic party have been doing it for years and it always works having most of the main stream media on their side. If a republican would have said the same thing to a democrat it would be headline news for the next week or more. Typical Democrat lib hypocrisy at work again. It gets boring after awhile/.

ha ha Neo-Lib chauvinism at its best. If you are a woman who supports Bush you are a 'yes woman' if you are a minority, you are a race traitor or 'uncle tom'.

Man, I love the Neo-Libs. There is no way they can possibly last much longer!

Apparently a Single Woman without any kids isn't allowed to be in power. Boxer stepped WAY, WAY over the line.

oh the irony

you are a feminst so you believe in a woman's right to choose to get married, have an abortion, or do what ever they want out of society's norm.

so condi is a single lady with no children and boxer insults her for that.

and you applaude her for that

you make liberals look like idiots
