Yes, it is possible.
The earlier answer is incorrect in stating that schizophrenia is the same as a split personality. They are entirely different disorders. A schizophrenic's mind is fragmented, not split. Bipolar disorder is not a split personality, either. The person has one personality that goes from happiness to depression and back again.

Yes. There's actually a lot of things that involve having more than one personality:

Multiple personality disorder
Schizophrenia
Bipolar (or Manic Depressive)

There are some of them. Try looking some up and see if you have any other symptoms. You might wanna get it checked out if it affects your life in a negative way.

Funny you should ask. My ex (according to her therapist) said I might be bipolar. "Cool" says I. A bipolar schizophrenic alter-ego evil twin I can blame everything on. Came in handy.
