I think the trick is to convince Obama that the positive changes he will make in the world are worth the circumstances he will be placing his family in. I think one of the reasons he hasn't announced his candidacy is because he wonders about the impact the race and the resultant election would have on his wife and daughters. I also think he can't help but wonder about the experience question. Can a junior Senator really run the country? I assert that he has more carefully weighed the issues than our own president. The Audacity of Truth prooves that he is a more thoughtful and reflective, more educated and articulate man than the person who is wrecking our world in the current administration. Obama has real solutions to problems Bush hasn't even considered. He is real hope. We should all encourage him, through letters, calls and emails, that he is the man we want.

Barack Obama is a charismatic young man. He is in no way experienced enough at this point to be president. He would be eaten alive by the pirahnas in D.C. He needs to get some years in the senate under his belt; then he might have a chance.
And while I liked President Clinton, I don't remember him cleaning up very many messes. He was too busy making his own messes.

To be sparkling, confident and no. i think of he will go out (finally) from Iraq yet he will proceed squaddies death and struggling with on yet another front. So he fixes one mess and creates yet another. The Senate and Congress are bobbing up the banking and vehicle marketplace issue (not Bush) and that i anticipate Obama will cope with vehicle section ok. even although, he will (as any President could) have the excellence of seeing the U. S. fall from superpower status (while the banks take the U. S. with them). I choose him success with that.

Barack doesn't have enough experience to do much except excite liberals with a viable black candidate. Clinton didn't fix anything. Once again liberal propaganda will say that he fixed the economy, when, actually, the economy was on the upswing before the election in '92. Bias for the sake of bias, without any type of real knowledge is the basis for your ignorance.

I do agree with your statement that Clinton cleaned house after the mess, but Obama is too in-experienced in my opinion to "fix" anything. Give him time though :)

Clinton didn't fix ANYTHING! He just made matters worse. For starters, he let Bin Laden slip through his fingers, probably 'cause he was sucking up to his buddy BL for his oil. Obama fix Iraq? If ALL THE LIBERALS as a whole are unable to put their heads together to find a BETTER idea or solution to acheiving victory in Iraq and bringing peace and stability there, what makes you think 'almighty Obama', the 'newbie' to politics and still wet behind the ears. He lacks experience and therefore, highly doubtful that he'll fix anything.

Funny, I don't remember that Clinton did anything more than ride a good economy.
And, if you can tell me what Barack has done in terms of turning anything around, or running any large organization, I'll have a fighting chance of telling you how long Barack will take to "turn things around."
I'm waiting... c'mon... what large organization has he run? Has he been the CEO of a large company? Governor of Illinois? C'mon... tell me... we're waiting...

Exactly what did Clinton fix? Obama doesn't have what it takes to run the country, but it makes sense that you would think so. After all it was liberals that ran Gore and Kerry.

Obama smokes cigarettes and I could never vote for some one that does. What do you know about this guy? Probably nothing. He gave one good speech and you want him to run the country? That is scarry. I noticed that Pelosi is in bed with the Starkist Tuna people by not making them pay minimum wage. One week in and the corruption is already knee deep.
