why is it when boys like somone,they go to the person they like friend and ask them about their friend.why don't they use the direct approach?

its the same reason why girls run around in packs. and why girls send their friends to do the breaking up. its complicated, and i dont believe there is a simple answer here, but i think its because they are afraid of rejection, and they think it wont hurt as much if the friend tells them no. and i dont blame them. cuz i do it too,and im a girl. lol

Because they're shy and they want to protect themselves from rejection. If they are equipted with more info about the girl, they will feel more comfortable and at ease, and it also gives them time to consider whether the girl is right for them.

Cuz they dont know if the person will feel the same thing then he does or their afraid of that the girl will b mad!

cuz some guys get shy went talking to the girl they like so they talk to someone there more comfortable with. meaning the friend

maybe they are afraid they wont get the honest truth especially if the girl is someone he doesnt really know but he knows her friend...probably just trying to play it safe

probably because they want to see if the girl likes him back. they probably do that so they dont make a fool out of themself!!! lol. sry im not much of a help.
