California, Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and the Southern States seceding from the USA?

Slim and none. Quebec can't even manage to get away from Canada.

Given that there is no reason for any of those states or regions to be that upset with the federal government, and that there has been no serious talk about such a move from anyone in a position of authority since the Civil War, I would say that the chances of a secession by any state or region of the United States is about as close to zero as you can get.
