Why isn't life fair?

It is fair. It is just not fair for all people at all times. It's like your basic notion of karma. Sometimes it's good, sometimes...well, it's not. Good luck! =)

Life isn't fair because no human is perfect. It would be like having everyone do and like the same things. There would be utter chaos.

Because different people get different opportunities and different obstacles at different times. It's up to you to recognize which is which, and to decide what to do with each one. When you get good at that, people who aren't good at it will say you're just lucky, and that life isn't fair.
