What a helpful question. Thank you. Reading the answers helps me to check in with my own expectations and see that the search, the journey through the fazes of my life, the choices made throughout are equal to the professional student category. As a mother my niche was complete and yet I still longed for that something more. When my children left home I entered a new chapter of searching. I do desire that elusive "niche", that Purpose of Being. Sometimes it's there in the Peace of Being. Sometimes I think it's in the "right job" the "right vocation" the " right relationship" but really I don't think any of these "things" can give me that satisfaction that I'm really looking for. I'm a bottom line kind of gal and deep down, yeah it's Peace in that Inner Place that counts. As for the Carrer, Financial Desire, Mental, Physical, Relationship Love...all these things are subject to circumstance and I think I've come to a place of letting the journey reveal the gift. In that I am happy to learn and continue to grow.

About as well as could be expected. I'm happily married to a wonderful, sexy, witty, intelligent woman. Spiritually I am well grounded, although every day presents its own challenges to the spirit and the emotions. Mentally, I'm alive and creative.

Physically, I'm in excellent health for 57 and I enjoy plenty of outdoor activities.

Yup. Life is definitely good. No complaints or regrets here.

So 'niche', to you, represents: Being at peace with the Universe, Self and all other external influences. Wow, that's a tough one. Perhaps if we settle on 'spiritual peace' all of the others will follow or are not as important. Good question. If more people could feel the need to be at peace with anything.
More Love.

I thought I found it, but was so wrong. So, threw everything out the window, drove over it, drove far away from it, and started with a new slate. Now, happiest I've been for a while. But no, I haven't found what I'm looking for yet. The search is pretty cool though.

I found a 'nitch" for whole life to be in me...entirely. Why we have to be "part"? I am a Life itself and Life includes everything...

I do not think anybody ever finds their nitch in life. You are always trying to achieve something better.

I have seldom been where I wanted to be for very long. Life is an adventure, and being stagnant is not allowed.
