You are contradictory in your pro's. If you are truly a Christian, then how can you be pro civil union when that support homosexuality, which is against everything the Bible stands for??
You will find most Liberal Democrats believe in ramming wild and crazy "freedoms" down peoples throats, like, homosexuality and abortion, all in the name of " choice".
They believe that if you put high enough taxes on the rich, it will cure the problem. But hey, who are the rich?
1. Politicians
2. Hollywood types
3. Heads of corporations who employee all these people
So, number three above, would just raise the cost of their products so that the working stiff would pay the tax. Congress would exempt themselves and the Hollywood supporters who think that all is wonderful.
It all boils down to, " at what point does someones Rights overrule common sense and the status quo?"

how can you be so good and suggest an absolute answer in the name of God (as you see it, not Him) that refuses to see the other side. I am not pro-abortion...I am just against people like you that want to extend your personal version of right and wrong to everyone else, no matter other people's possible logical opinion and let's not forget, their decisions about their lives.

This is ridiculous. I can't stand questions like this. I'm not even that powerful of a liberal, and I believe in CHOICE. Just because someone is a liberal doesn't mean that they go around stabbing pregnant women in the uterus. I'm against making abortion completely illegal for several reasons. One, there are conditions in which children AND mothers are in danger, such as ectopic pregnancies and twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. Also, if a woman clearly cannot support a child or if a young woman is pregnant with a child in high school, it's just wrong. It's not going to do a child or mother any good if the mother cannot support her self or raise her child properly. If this occurs, her child could turn out the same, and their children, and their children.

you say you are anti-racist, but you are pro-israel and pro-bush, who are both extremely racist, so you are contradicting yourself.
I'm pro-abortion (aka pro-choice or I support a woman's right/freedom to have an abortion legally if she desires to). Outlawing abortion is as idiotic as putting people in jail for victimless crimes (like using various illicit drugs or drawing things or writing things that someone else finds offensive). Why is seeing millions more children growing up in utter poverty, more people on welfare and in jails (more people dependent on the government) so important to you?

As a Christian conservative, allow me to point out, Hon, that they DON'T support abortion; they support choice. To say anyone supports abortion is pure propaganda at its finest. To support choice means that it's none of your business or the government's as to what my husband and I decide is best for our family. I do appreciate, though, you being so honest as to admit that you, as so many pro-choice supports are, anti-abortion and not pro-life. Therefore, I suppose you have no problem with the death penalty like many who claim to be pro-life.

Freedom from government control. Keep the government out of this personal decision. Keep the government off our backs.

OK. I'm liberal. Nothing wrong with your asking that. I might add a tad more but no need to. My liberal friends have it pretty well covered. (Saves me from getting reported.) Oh, one thing. It's spelled D-E-M-O-C-R-A-T. No N. That's reserved for neocoNs.

I agree that abortion is bad and IMO it is murder but the law currently allows it. I doubt that only Democrats are guilty of abortions and likewise I would bet that some disagree with it.

Because we believe that ethical judgments should be based on increasing happiness and reducing suffering.
Keeping abortion legal does both.
Banning abortion increases human misery.
A fertilized egg has no awareness, and therefore it cannot suffer.
