The freeze plug are on the bottom casing of your engine block, there is more then one, its round about the size of, or bigger then a dollar coin. You will also see rusty water marks like water dripping stains, see how many are affected, and fix all of them one time, that way you will not have to go and do it again. They should be plunged with a screwdriver, to pull out the old plug, and tap in your new plug lightly with a hammer. You then would need to allow your engine to heat up, thus, your freeze plug will expand and tighten in place...Good Luck !

PS: You can't miss it, there should be at least three or four on each side of the engine block. Also, if still having difficulties, buy a repair manual for your type, year, and make of your vehicle.

Oh yeah, sounds real easy, and it is, the hardest part to it, will be obtaining the right size plug from the part store or dealers...LOL....Good luck again, sorry, couldn't leave with warning you!

There are several throughout the engine block, on both sides. They are about the size of 1" diameter or bigger. And most are brass color. But if painted over they will defenitely be round. Hope this helps some.

There are 4, 6, or 8 depending on the engine. They are located below the exhaust headers.
