My Doctor recently perscribed me Clomid to help my husband and I conceive our first child. I don't want to feel like I am going against God's plan... I want a child really bad but it seems like I have more and more obstacles to go through the more my husband and I try.. My sister got pregnant with Clomid and she had triplet's at 7 months and her and the girls almost died, in fact we lost one of the girls when she was three months old. I am so terrified of going through the same thing. I don't know if I should just not try as hard and see if it happens or take the Clomid that the doctor gave me and take that risk.

I think God would be happy. He said be fruitful, and, multiply. That's what you're trying to do. Good luck ~~~~

I took 50 mg of Clomid once, after TTC for 3 years and it has worked. I am now 9 weeks, 1 day pregnant with twins. The docs are stunned that we conceived, and with twins at the lowest dose. I do not believe it is Gods will that you cannot get pregnant. I basically stopped worrying and "gave it to God". I said whatever will be, will be. If the Clomid doesn't work then it is because there is a child out there for us to adopt. But I know in my heart that God knew how desperately we wanted to conceive a child of our own and I lost an unborn child 9 years ago and so I believe this is why God has blessed us miraculously with twins. Good luck and try to relax and what will be, will be.

It is not against God, God made man, and man invented fertility aids, therefore God had a hand in helping women have the babies they want. I took Clomid, and I have a 9 month old son. There is only a 3% chance of twins with Clomid and less for triplets. It's a rare case to have had the triplets. I say give it a try and good luck making your dreams come true!!!

God put the ability to make Clomid on Earth so it exists for a reason. In terms of the risks that you'll be taking to have a baby, it's really your decision if God wants you to have children you will with the resources he has provided for you. (which may be Clomid) Not everyone who takes it will have the same result as your sister. If you are scared, maybe once u get pregnant you can visit your OB frequently to check if everything is ok. Usually if there are going to be complications, there will be early detectors that will arise. Do what your doc tells u to do.. in terms of nutrition, how often you move, etc.. i say if you want to have a baby and you have the resources that will be able to help him/her grow up healthy... do what you need to do... life is based on our decision, we can't just sit back and have everything handed to us or have someone tell us what to do all the time.

I would see Clomid as an answered prayer. Perhaps God put this option into your life for a reason. Both my best friend and her sister got pregnant on Clomid. The sister had twins and the best friend has had 2 single pregnancies. Both of them had decided to try Clomid but wouldn't go any farther with infertility treatments.

I wouldn't think that you are going against God's will. The way I see it, you are upping your chances and you will be blessed with a baby when God knows that you're ready. The only advice that I can give you is to have faith that you will have a baby when the time is truly right. If you can't concieve within your desired time, you should definately adopt and give a baby a chance at a life and a love that he/she truly needs and deserves. GOOD LUCK!!

I dont' believe God would give you a child if he didn't want you to have one, no matter what you do. He gave us our brains to develop such wonderful modern science, and I think if he wants you to have a child, he can allow you to use this drug to help. The risk of multiple birth is a fact, but if you're all for leaving your life in the Lord's hands, pray about it and then decide what you should do. I believe He will give you the child/children He meant for to have no matter what you do. Good luck :)

i think of that the only individual who ought to appreciate "what God might say" is an empowered agent of God, alongside with your Jesus Christ. as a result you mustn't be asking random human beings on line with doubtful intentions what to do. i think of you would be plenty greater efficient off asking a depended on priest or guy or woman at your church. I additionally think of you ought to seek for interior of your heart for the final suited answer, and pray. My very own opinion is that in spite of God desires to ensue, will ensue, so while you're taking the pills, then the two God will punish you or advantages you for it. the two way God's will, would be finished. so do no longer concern approximately "disobeying God's will."
