sure they do, but the rights of the child supercede anyone elses.

the childs needs come first, before any of us.

the state/federal government is tired of people not paying for their kids, thats why the laws are so strict today. they are tired of paying for deadbeats. its nothing to take personal, but rather, be glad your childs rights are being looked after.

as for the free and legal help, you too are entitled to it, its called Legal Aid Office. they are in every state and most counties. it goes on a sliding scale, so its free to most people. look in your phone book, call the county court clerks office or your states Bar Assoc for the number.

Honestly, no. No rights at all. Not unless you can work out agreements between yourself and the child's mother. The last thing you want to happen is to go through the courts and get caught up in the system. Once your in you never get out. Even if the child's mother one day requests that the 'system' stops collecting payments. The child support system couldn't care less about the children, and what is good for them, they treat all fathers like deadbeat dads as though splitting up with the mother is a crime that you have to be punished for. If at some point you go through hard times and the mother is doing well, remarried (even to a rich man), and you are homeless begging for change, they will STILL lock you up for being unable to afford the ridiculous amounts of money they ask for. It's crazy - i'm a mother, I KNOW how much it costs to raise a child, and if my husband and I ever split up, and he never gave me a penny, I STILL would end up worse off by using child support enforcement.

Absolutely! The reason men don't think they have rights is because they never think they have rights! If you give an effort in child support and custody matters, you will have completely equal rights. But men always think that it is pointless to even try, but that is nonsense.

I kinda agree yet a guy could heavily step as a lot because the plate. even with the actual incontrovertible truth that some courts would make u pay baby help, no human being human being can totally rigidity you to be a figure. My suggestion to someone who would seem at it that way have the alternative to signal over parental rights only as she can make the alternative even if that child lives or no longer. it isn't a egocentric question to ask. I comprehend. Coming from a mom who virtually aborted me yet grow to be talked into giving delivery. She had the alternative yet chosen my existence over freedom. She feared she wouldnt be able to protect a 0.33 baby pondering the daddy walked faraway from the duty. i imagine judgements are to be made on both elements.

some and it is has improved now. so that ain't saying much. reforms are needed. one problem is the custodial parent has free legal help(the prosecuter),while the other parent has to pay for a lawyer or represent themself. the county is making money off child support. that is the reason for free legal help.

edit. true pat i have played the stay at home dad. i have won custody of my son, representing myself and actually my ex wasn't a terrible mother. so stop whining,if that is what you are doing.

Very much so. Especially if the mother isn't a good mother. Very important tip: DOCUMENT anything and everything, no matter how weak you think it is. It all adds up in front of the judge. Good luck.

Is this whining? If so, stop whining and do something about it. If men start being stay at home Dads more often, that will help combat sexism. You should start suggesting to your male friends that they do that. Please record the reaction on yahoo answers for all to see.

See many Dads being stay at home Dads? No? Well, they aren't helping their fellow males out then.
