Do you think women wind up settling in a relationship more or do men?

Settling as in the relationship isn't all that they wanted, but it will do.

I think it's about even. I've seen women put up with a lot of crap to stand by their man but I've also known a lot of men who settle. I think most people who settle are afraid to be alone. Too bad. Being in a bad relationship is lonelier than being alone.

I don't think either women or men settle easily these days if they did i think that maybe i would settle for someone older like me who wanted and needed companionship and would be willing to work hard to try to find some joy in life. I think that i have settled this way that i look no more---

yes i do believe women settle more than men, because women want to be married, and in a relationship. if they don't marry the man they loved, than they may settle for a man they don't really love, especially if they are getting older, and their biological clock is running out, and they want kids.

Men cheat more, so I would have to say , women settle more. They, for some reason unbeknownst to me, accept his cheating as, "boys will be boys!" Women value home, and family, more than most men do. In doing so, I think they settle.

Definitely women do. Men have big Egos, macho thing in their head even if the woman is smarter. Women believe in keeping the relationship (unless there is cheating). Men wants conveniece, cake and icing.

Both, it's so easy to get a divorce, they both figure" I" can always look after I'm married or living with so & so & trade up later.
