miscarriage/preterm birth (eventually losing a child...say around 20weeks)?

anyone here who have had "immediate" pregnancy (cld be you planned for it or it just happened) right after the above mentioned situations?....

i had a loss about a month ago and i am feeling completely fine now, physically. my postpartum bleeding is almost coming to an end and hubby and i have decided that when we get back to our normal, sexual life, we'd not use any contraceptive and let things happen naturally.

i just wanted to hear out what you guys out there have to say about this....BASED ON YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCES...

thank you all

The farther along, the longer you should wait. Most of the time they say 1 cycle. Sometimes 3. But that's for miscarriages. If you actually went through labor, I would say 6 months. I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks, and I waited 3 months before TTC again. Giving your body time to heal is a good thing. Rushing COULD cause another miscarriage.

My baby died when I was 4 1/2 months pregnant, I had to have a D & C. We tried straight away to concieve again (out of grief) and nothing happened. But as soon as we stopped I fell pregnant. It was about 3 months to 3 and 1/2 months after the D&C.
Now I have a beautiful 6 yr old and 4 yr old.
I think going with letting things happen naturally is the best option.
Good luck and I hope everything goes well.
