HBK's Theme song "Sexy Boy" was written by "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart (who has written many wrestlers themes in the early to mid 90s ). It was originally performed by Sherri Martel who was Shawn's manager in the early days after leaving The Rockers. After parting ways with Sensational Sherri it was re recorded with some of Sherri's vocals in the background but with HBK doing the lead vocals. HBK once stated about the recording that it was magic not due to his singing skills but what the production crew was able to do to make his voice sound that good.
It is the perfect song to describe where HBK was at with the whole attitude era in WWE. He thought he was the man and a stud muffin and had an ego the size of his home state. That was HBK to a tee. Yes he's a little more humble now that he's a christian but that was where he started with the HBK charachter. and that is why that song has remainrd so perfect for his charachter.

This song was originally Performed by: Jimmy Hart and JJ Maguire. This song was used approximately 10 years ago when HBK reached the top of the WWF.
The "Sexy Boy" song he has now sounds a bit different from the original.
