Good time to by some options in Oil related companies?

I think oil is pretty cheap right now. There is not much interest in oil related stocks. Many of them are getting dumped. That is usually a good time to buy. I think if you are investing for the long term, buying oil stocks now is a good move. Short term, these stocks may be going even lower. Oil companies are pretty much priced at oil going for $40 to 50 barrel. The high price has created a lot of production which will depress the price for a while. So the oil stocks are good dividend or defensive stocks, but are not great growth companies.

When it gets cold in the Northeast, oil back to $60 and then up from there.
