I was thinking that also!!!! i wonder if he had the same mother but different father, like they all do on the soaps

No. Zach isn't related to Zarf. Zarf is a rock star who is a female trapped in a males body. He becomes Zoe. It's called transgender. To me, he's just a freak.
For a while, AMC went with T names: Travis, Trey, Trevor, Tad, and then the went to J's. J.R., Josh, Joey, Jake, Jamie, Jack, Julia, Jeff....guess they're on Z's now. lol

I am not sure but he has something to do with Zach. I think.
Why else would he have his mother's picture?
