sure,and 100% free but the better than limewire is bearshare program it is much faster than limewire.
if u r using DSL downloading can range from 150-300 kb/S and some times i get 500 kb/s or more up to 1.3 mb/s.
i get both programs and i work now on bearshare(go to www.bearshare.come and u can download the program for free)
in downloading games,download the big size with the higher rank to download faster(any way choose only the big size and dont look for high ranks unless it is well known and popular game),some times u get games in zip folder or rar folder so u need to get winrar to extract them.also u will get games in small size in 200's kb or 800's and less than 1MB all these things r viruses dont download them even if they r higher in ranking.sure a game like the sims or need for speed or fifa or any other games will not be less than 600mb or u may have to download the full size so u can know where is the real game to download.(try to maximize this equation the true game shown+highest rank available for them=the fastest download. increase any part or all if u r lucky and u will get the game in 4 days or a week as maximum depending on ur internet speed.)
also u can get games in image formats like .iso (u can choose either .iso images or .rar download the best according to what i wrote above.)
so u should get an image mounting program like virtual DAEMON manager or if u have NERO 7 u can use the nero image drive in the all programs from the start menu.

by the way,u can choose the drives and folders to share others from ur computer if u like or u can turn off sharing to make all the speed for the downloading u make not for both downloading and uploading.SCAN THE DOWNLOADS FOR VIRUSES,AND I KNOW THERE WILL NOT BE ANY VIRUSES BECAUSE I TRUST THE WAY I CHOOSE GAME FOLDERS TO DOWNLOAD AND I NEVER GET A VIRUS BUT SCAN THEM TO BE SURE.

you could probably find some but i would strongly advise against it. most of any kind of programs or documents you download from any filesharing program is nothing but viruses. prime example--on my old computer, I tried to download some program or something from bearshare (another filesharing program) and as soon as the download finished norton popped up and said that my system had a virus. it's a real bad idea to download any software or programs from limewire or any other filesharing progrma- mark my words your system will get a virus.
