Frasor's signing leaves the Blue Jays with four players still eligible for arbitration: first baseman Lyle Overbay, outfielders Reed Johnson and Alex Rios, plus pitcher Scott Downs.

"We're still talking to these guys." said Ricciardi. "We're down the road further with some than others."

does this mean that the blue jays have them unsigned for next season? also wut other pithcer are the blue jays looking to sign?

The Jays can and will sign these guys -- and need to do so. Rumor has it that Ricciardi has been looking to move Rios for a SP, but won't make a deal just for the sake of getting one done (i.e., it has to make sense for the Jays). The Jays probably need another good SP and there isn't much out there-- but I like the J. Thomson signing a lot. That guy has shown some good stuff and if he's healthy, the Jays could have a 15 game winner pretty cheap.

sure there are Blue Jay followers - in simple terms no riccardi followers. Johnson and Stewart are both ok yet not what the Jays want. What they want is a left surpassed skill bat. they could't deliver up 7 or 8 righties each pastime. On Johnson, you won't be able to hit with a nasty again.

They will play for the Jays, they are under contract. The only question will be how much money they make. If they can't agree, then an arbitrator decides what sides offer is fair. If they are coming off a good year, the player will likely win. The arbitrator seems to side with players more often than the owners.
