I dont listen to the current garbage music scenes. I never bought any cds from Britney Spears nor from Jessica Alba. I only collect Rock Classic bands ...by the way, who still know Grand Funk Railroad & James Gang today? they were great american bands. Iam not sure whether the youngsters do know these wonderful great bands.

Do not argue me! I never see any good current american bands anymore. The 70´s are over now. There were good & wonderful american talented artists during that eras....what a incredible era at that time !! that´s allright I live in the past but live with very good american bands I mentioned above. BASTA !!

Finally someone with some good music questions. These kids probably don't even know who these bands are. Classic Rock is the best music in the history of music. That's when lyrics actually meant something. They were poetic. Now it's all garbage. I also have never bought any of the crap that you listed. It's about time someone brought some sense to this forum.

Now these fine ladies, they had a plan.
They was out to meet the boys in the band.
They said 'come on dudes, let's get it on'
And they proceeded to tear that hotel down...
I love all 3 of those bands. I especially like The Band.
What I can't stand are boy bands, or girl bands that just sing and dance and don't even play instruments. How can they be a band when they don't play any instruments. At least the Monkees pretended to play instruments, then they actually learned how to play them. And thier music was actually good. Last Trqain to Clarksville is a great song.
I really can't stand Justin Timberlake. It is manufactured entertainment. Corporate Pulp designed to be spoon fed to the public.
And the new bands that do play instruments all sound the same.

Heck Yeah!! Not only remember... opened for a few of them and partied with a few of them. I guess I am a Rock n' Roll Dinosour as well. I'm 47 and still jammin' and burry me with my bass.

I remember them well, and I too dont enjoy kidpop. (Although who said if you can remember the 60s you werent there?)
That said, 2006 was a brilliant year for American rock music. Blinders wont help you hear the good new stuff. Stay alive, stay current. Go good music hunting.
