Why do you think American exports are so well recieved. I'm talking about movies.

One market China can't corner!!! American's look like most other cultures because we are a melding pot of so many nationalities. So people can identify with the actor and actress on screen.

I think American movies and other pop culture exports are well received b/c the entertainment industry in the US is very well organized here. Show business is actually ran like a business. America thrives in making money no matter what business it is. It's all about the bottom line.

American critics are paid and united what to say about a film!
Think about "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan". Have a foreign movie distributed worldwide by such as 20th Century Fox Distribution. U.S. Box Office:$109,136,807.. Americans paid to see themselves and their own citizens being ridiculed like fools. Pay also the survey companies to skew the results and reinforce itself into a circular interactions.

Simple. They've got more money to spend on special effects, selling & promoting, and globally known actors.
Also, the English-speaking world is too arrogant to put up with films shot in other languages unless they are really sold well on the advert. Unfortunately.

there very idealistic, not many people can handle a gritty realism to there films. they use these usually terrible flicks as an escape from there own reality
