My daughter just switched to a convertible toddler car seat. She was previously in an infant car seat, that had a convenient shading device that I could move around to keep the sun off her face at any angle. Her new car seat has no such device. We have window shades on the side windows, but sun always comes in from the back window into her face and its very upsetting for her. What can I do about this?

Go to Babies R Us. They have film that cling to the windows but it is see through so it won't block your view. It is made by Safety 1st.

This is something she is going to have to get used to. You can't shield the sun from her face forever! Just use one of those window shades and then just have her get used to it. I'm sorry, but it's the brutal truth. I'd worry more about sun exposure and use sunscreen. That is more worrisome than the sun being in her eyes. If you shield it from her for longer, it will be more difficult to get her used to it the older she gets!

Honey, you go and buy one of those suction cup curtains that go over the window..... You can pull over and move them whenever the sun gets in her eyes depending on which way your driving and everything!!! You can buy them at any Walmart, or K-mart. Good-Luck!!!
