Well I became pregnant in October 2006 and before I found out I was pregnant my husband kept telling me I was Pregnant and sure enough in December I found out I was pregnant. We have 2 boys 4 and 6 but he never had gotten sick with them. Those pregnancies I was very sick but this one I am not but he is. I am trying to help him out, by finding how long this might last.

it is called "couvade" and it's actually common for this to happen. some men also experience tiredness and weight gain too. it could last for just part of the pregnancy or throughout the whole entire thing. he is having sympathy symptoms of pregnancy. i hope this gets better for him. maybe your doctor could give him some advice on how to deal with this. good luck and congrats on the pregnancy!!

Yes, it can happen. My dad was sick as a dog when my mom was pregnant with me, but Mom never got sick at all. Go figure.

I would say it would last about as long as it does with the mom. How long were you sick with your sons? Two to four months, I'd say. It should end soon, if you got pregnant in October.

lol, he's having sympathy sickness. That's so cute, I'd say that it should go away about the second trimester.
