It would definitely help to know which picture puzzle book you were looking for. If you want to buy on-line, I recommend Amazon.com just because there are so many sellers - you can often get a great price. (I sell there myself, but can't afford to list any books for a penny.) You could also try half.com. On eBay, if there's more than one book you want from the same seller, you might save on shipping (I sell some there, too.)
If you want to know who might have a particular book you're looking for, try www.addall.com or www.fetchbook.info. They have info for many different bookstores. If you want to walk in and buy the title, you might want to call ahead and see if the store has it. I've hit 3-4 bookstores in a day and was disappointed when I couldn't find what I was looking for.
