Either multiply $4.50 by 2.2 or divide $9 by 2.2. Take your pick (I personally thing multiplying is easier). You would get:

Wholesale Club - $9.90/kg or $4.50/lb
Extra Food's - $9/kg or $4.09/lb

Either way Extra Food's is cheaper. Even if you multiply looking for a 20 lb turkey it doesn't change the fact that you pay less at Extra Food's.

Take a step back and see what you really need to do.

The cheapest means the least cost/weight. You just need to make sure that you're using the same units. You can't compare peso/kg with dollars/lb, you need to convert one of them. It's up to you which one you convert.

Don't worry about the 20 lbs. The cheapest price/weight will also give the cheapest for 20 lbs.

Multiplying is easier than dividing, so I'd recommend converting:
$4.5 /lb*(2.2 lb/kg) = $9.90 /kg This is slightly more than Extra's $9/kg and so the price at Extras is cheaper.

Since you are looking for an answear in lbs (20 lb bird) lets begin by changing Kilo's to lbs. $9.00 divided by 2.2 = 4.09 or $4.09/lb

Store A was selling at $4.50/lb x 20 lb bird = $90.00
Store B " " " $ 4.09/lb x 20 lb bird = $81.80

Store B's the better deal but they both seem pretty high to me.

A kilogram is 2.2 pounds.
2.2 * $4.50 = $9.90 per Kilogram
This indicates that "Extra foods" has the better buy at $9.00 per Kilogram

20 lbs X $4.50 / lbs = $90

20 lbs X $9.00/Kg / 2.2 Kg/lb = $81.81

Cheaper by the Kg.
U can see that it casts twice as much to buy by the Kg, but a Kg is more than twice one pund so u can figure it out without using math too...

Okay, if 1 kg= 2.2 lb.
Then 9/kg = 9/2.2lb, or 4.09 per 1 lb.

So, thats cheaper then 4.50 per lb.

So, its cheaper at extra food's.
