In the House, they don't matter unless there is a vote to over ride a veto! They can still state their opinion.

Not at all. Many of the newly elected Democrats are not flaming liberals like the current leadership, but much more centrist. Some are even fairly conservative.
Republicans can garner their support on certain issues like opposing gun control and balancing the budget, and even on some national security issues.

i thought only the liberals were whining losers and they are usually the ones who feel hopeless about life, our country, the world.
I prefer to think conservative thought brings hope rather than suicidal tendencies or losing HOPE !
HOPE is everything regardless of who is in office !
