I expect that everyone will just put their opinion and leave. Not much by way of reasons, unfortunately.

Are democrats hypocrites? Sometimes. And sometimes republicans are. You're right, you did ask a general question, and so I can't give you a very satisfactory answer.

everyone is a hypocrite at some point... that's part of God's little joke it seems...

but... politicians seem to take the cake in the matter... on both sides... but, I see more hypocrisy out of the Republicans overall personally... but dems are too of course...

all politicians are filthy hypocrites who are out for their own gain, and no one should trust any of them i am unaffiliated with either of the *big* parties, and i (under aged) am planning to vote Independent every time. the only redeeming quality republicans have in my opinion is the Right to Life policy..... all politicians suck

Well, the main difference between Dems and Reps is this: It took Dems about 50 years in control before they got corrupt and lazy. It took the Republicans about 50 MONTHS.

Moral: Even if Dems are occasionally hypocritical, corrupt and lazy, at least you can still believe their hearts are mostly in the right place. Reps, on the other hand, only care about money and power. They couldn't care less about Joe America.

No more so than anyone else. All of us are to a certain extent, in our desire to "fit in". Politicians are more in the public eye, and with our criticizing a pastime, I guess we see it more in politicians and other high profile public images. But, then again, politicians have a little more at stake with reelections and gaining clout, so maybe they're a little more apt to misrepresent their true stand.
