Yes its common but it is also a significant sign of drifting apart,be careful.Women talk three times more than men.But you cannot ignore the needs of your wife or else you will end up in Divorce Court.My husband talks less than me and i let him know exactly what i feel whether he wants to hear it or not and he has to shut up and listen LOL.No matter how long you have been married Listen to your wife because in most marriages if the woman is not happy the man will not be allowed to be happy talkig from expereince here lol .

Just because it is common amoung men does not make it an excuse for you!.. It is your responsiblity to be different than any other man to your wife. Spend time with her.. talke to her. put your personal feelings aside and take on hers from time to time.
People forget.. Marraige is just a title, an important one.. but non the less you need to be her best friend.. and if she doesnt have you ... you will leave her to find someone else.
Date your wife again!

yes specially if they have been in a relationship for a long period of time, i guess they think they just have to nod and the wife will except that but really she is boiling inside cause she wants to be to heard. she also wants someone to talk to specially the one person that she knows understands her which should be her husband, your the one that knows her the best so "listen and talk to her" or she will find someone that will trust me on that. then u will be left wondering hey what did i do wrong well here or the answers right in front of your face.

Yes i believe it is common,my husband and i have this issue, he is pretty quiet, and alot of times when he comes home from wprk iw ill want to talk and stuff and he just sort of sits there and says nothing. It almost broke us up. But i think men and women are so different. I'd always be saying "why don't you talk to me?" whats wrong? and he'd be like "nothing, why?" Mostly he'd be just tired, and i'd be thinking it was the end of the world. Any way , to answer your question it is very common.

Just sit down once in a while and talk to your wife.
Yes, she'll talk your ear off most times, but so what? Be flattered that she always wants to make you a part of what interests her.
She needs you to acknowledge her. Do yourself a favor, and start talking to your wife. It's important.

Yes it's common, I guess noone told her men suck! You guys just aren't made outta the same stuff we are. Girl friends are for talking to. Not husbands. You could try a little bit harder I bet. Sounds important to her.

No... if you love her, talk to her. If you don't, don't lead her on. If there's still hope for the relationship, try to work things out. Listen more. Show her you love her. No I don't mean "Baby, let's do it".... I mean, hugs and kisses for no reason. Telling her she looks pretty today. Telling her you love her without it being a special occasion. Trust me, this matters more than anything to women, and it shows you still care.

Get a book called Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, and I think it will definitely open up your eyes to how women think and feel about certain things.
