can jeans that are 1% spandex shrink up a little (get tighter) after you don't wear or wash them for two weeks? cuz i wore my jeans like two weeks ago and they were a little snug when i first put them on but they got looser as the day went on... then i changed clothes and haven't wore that pair since ....then i put them on
today and they felt as tight as they did when i first put them on two weeks ago... so is it possible that i wore them and streched them out and then they "unsretched" themselves after just sitting in my room not being worn?

please serious answers only.... no mean comments....

I DIDN'T wear or wash them for two weeks.... then i put them on again... and they felt as tight as they did when i put them on in the morning two weeks ago....

I did answer the question that you asked, ,my dear... but I'll put some clarifications in caps so you can get the general gist of my message. (Btw: i'm not yelling at you) :)

Hi there!

Definitely spandex HAS the capability to stretch back to it's original shape, however with prolonged (AKA REGULAR) wear of the jeans and with washing (IF YOU WASH) them, they will eventually loosen up and fit more comfortably.

Hope this helps! :)

They probably didn't shrink, it's probably just you aren't used to wearing them. The only way I know to make jeans shrink is to wash them in hot water and dry them on high.

the spandex in jeans gives them a little stretch so they will loosen up as you wear them, that's why they are more comfortable than all cotton jeans ,i think body heat activates the spandex causing it to loosen up,so I think that is entirly possible that happened.

yea, mostly any kind of jeans definitely shrink if you dry them. But when you wash them, i'd wash them and then let them air dry, then they don't shrink alot, and they'll get looser when you wear them. but you can't really help jeans from shrinking at all.

i think what ur saying is the same with me...i didnt read the whole thing... well, my jeans are tight when i get them out of the dryer, but then after putting them on they loosen up and then get tighter after i take them out of the dryer again.

I don't really know if jeans can shrink when not wearing them, but if you wash them they do. It is a possibilty that they can but I'm not to sure. Hope you find out if they can. I'm interested myself to find out!!

when you wear your jeans for a few hours they usually stretch a bit to conform to your body. But every time you rewash them they will go back to the same form until you wear them again.

they could just strech out then shirnk back to normal. my pants do that. It could also be you ate then lost the wait. (everyone gains and looses every day) when you put them back on
