Why is it soo colddd this year??? low as 20 degrees? why??????????

Our weather is nothing unusual this year. Usually every couple of years SJ gets a few days that dip into the 20s.

I remember one year, on the coldest day of the year in SJ, it was supposed to get down to 26 degrees that night. That's the day PG&E decided to rip out our gas line and replace it. Of course, by the time I got home from my nightshift job, the place was ice cold because they had turned of the gas and weren't around to relight the pilot lights.

It took all night long for that poor heater (it was a crummy one) to reheat the place to an acceptable level.
