It really depends on the fourteen year old. Yes, it's a book about werewolves. Yes, werewolves have violent tendencies. There's also some love/romance/sexual tension going on. So it probably isn't for everyone. But there are probably fourteen year olds out there who can handle it just fine.

I would have to say no on this one, because of the amount of violence.
This is my opinion, however, on what I have read about the book.
If your parents let you buy it then read it.
