good part, bro's u can hang with and ride, guys that will have ur back like u would have their back, guys that u could call at 3am with a problem and they'd show up.

bad side...certain clubs are/could be at war with each other, and to the other side, the wrong set of colors can be hazardous to ur health.

generally, clubs would prefer to just get along and not bring heat down on all of the other clubs

About the only good I could think of is if you find a legit club that just likes to ride and have a good time. You will make new friends and give yourself something cool to do. Since you are asking this question you probably do not know alot about this and you would have alot to learn in order to distinguish a "good" club from a "bad" club. If you are seeing guys in the club wearing the typical 3 piece patch on their back that is not good. They are either legit 1%ers or wanna bees and if they are wanna bees sporting a 3 piece patch you don't wan't to be around them. One day they will wish they were not wearing it. 3 piece patch is like this: the top rocker will have the club name, the bottom rocker will have the place they hail from, the middle will be their emblem or maybe just MC. Stay away from this stuff. It looks like your picture is a sport bike. They do tend to be a little different than your typical Harley types. That doesn't mean they cant be troublesome. Just be careful and use good judgment.

The good is that you might make some new friends, who might give you loads of useful advice and tips, buy you a few beers now and then, etc.
The bad part is you might gain like some sort of connection to them, and feel it neccesary to start riding with them all the time, and almost feel guilty if you don't go do "the club thing", instead of just go out riding where ever and when ever you want, whenever the fancy strikes you. You can get sort of trapped into it or tied down by it. PLUS, there is always the almost inevitable club politics and people complaining that it's always the same "3 people" who DO everything, etc. Me? I'm a LONE WOLF, no club req'd to be a rider, uh uh, BT, DT...

Kelly, there are a lot of good clubs who are a bunch of guys who ride together and do fundraisers for the needy and have field meets to meet the club's financial obligations and will ride to help anyonne with a financial problem or a kid who is sick or a bunch of kids who need toys for Christmas. Then they're are the 1%er's who never ride for toys for tots and try to muscle other clubs into paying for the right to ride on their turf or join up!! That means taking the beefs they have with other 1%ers and possibly getting waxed if they do or don't! Now my advice is to tell the 1%ers to get the hell out out or the police will be the next to deal with them. If that don't work ,well how about let me know as I am a NEGOTIATOR!!! SO IF YOU AND YOUR BUDDIES WANT TO START A CLUB THEN MORE POWER TO YA!!!! The good lways wins out against the evil

The bad is that they're full of mean, ugly, hard drinking, answer to no man, drifter rebels who would rather ride than be normal, responsible citizens, and would remove organs from anybody who messed with their friends.
Same thing for the good.
It all depends on what you're looking for.
