Out of all the songs written and the movies made, ppl still dont get it. Love is scary. It just happens and you are caught my surprise when the other person feels the same way. You will never feel so completely vulnerable in your life. The other person will know exactly what you're thinking before you say it and during trying times, can use your secrets against you. But lovers who are wise dont hurt each other, dont hold on to the past, but let them grow and look to the future. When you love someone, you dont feel chained to them. You feel free. When you love someone, you want them to live up to their potential and let them be praised by the world. Wanting and needing them besides you would be like trapping a bird in a cage. You want them to learn the lessons of life their own way and forgive them for whatever mistakes they make. That is unconditional love. too bad we can only manage conditional love with our romantic partners.
