It depends on what kind it is. Reptiles can go surprisingly long without food, but if it is a turtle that is used to living in wet areas, drying out may be a problem. Turtles have a good sense of smell and can smell water, and can also get water from eating green plants. Like humans, a turtle can probably live for a week without drinking, and if it a desert type turtle, it may be able to live for months without water. If you lost it indoors, best thing to do is just put a dish of water out where you think it can get to it. If it is outdoors, I don't know what you can do, other than ask your neighbors. If it is a turtle you found nearby it can probably take care of itself.

they do no longer require the water to help their bodies like some greater aquatic animals do, so which you do no longer ought to concern approximately that (assuming that's a water turtle). you do no longer say the place he escaped. If he's indoors, that's probable particularly cool, so he won't use an excellent sort of water for metabolism. i does no longer concern for some days if so. you could positioned down dishes for him to apply till you come across him. If it happened outdoors he will discover water if he desires it, and returned you could positioned out a dish of it for him.
